This website documents digital photos of my journey across South America from December 2001 until March 2002.

My trip started in Ecuador and took me through to Peru, Bolivia and Brazil (also with 2 days in Paraguay and one day in Argentina!). This was pretty fast moving (especially as a lot of it was spent on the local buses - an experience not to be missed), but I managed to cover most of the highlights that I wanted to photograph and had a wonderful experience along the way.

The designing and construction of a website is very time consuming, especially whilst trying to work a 40hour week for other clients elsewhere, so at present this site is still under construction. The only section I have so far managed to complete is The Galapagos subsection of Ecuador. However, soon to come, bit by bit, will be the remaining photos of:

Ecuador – Quito, Otavalo - the markets and surrounding areas, The Oriente (Ecuador's Amazon), Banos, Cuenca, Vilcabamba.

Peru – Lima, Nazca and the famous lines, Arequipa, The Colca Canyon, Cusco and the Inca Trail, Pisac's markets, Lake Titicaca.

Bolivia - Copacabana, Tipanaku, La Paz, the amazing Salar de Uyuni and wonderful surrounds and finally...

Brazil – Iguacu Falls, Curitiba, Ubatuba, Rio, Puerto Seguro, Illheus, Moro de Sao Paulo and Salvador.
